I research remote job leads most days, and many openings come from companies I have never heard of. That does not mean they are scams, but it does mean I have to dig into the company and application before sharing them.
I still feel a little better when a familiar name appears. There are far more recognizable companies offering remote work now than when I started this website in 2010.
Below are ten well-known companies that advertise remote jobs. These openings can close quickly, so apply soon or check the company’s careers page for future remote positions.

10 Well-Known Companies Hiring Remote Workers Now
1 – U-Haul – Bilingual Roadside Assistance Agent
U-Haul is hiring remote roadside assistance agents who are fluent in both English and French. You will take calls from customers, arrange roadside help, and provide updates until each problem is resolved.
The job pays $17.50 per hour and has full-time overnight and part-time evening schedules. Weekend and holiday availability is required, and you must provide a Windows 11 computer that meets the company’s technical requirements.
This opening excludes residents of several states, so check the location list carefully before applying.

2 – DoorDash – Enterprise Support Specialist
DoorDash lists a U.S. remote option for its Enterprise Support Specialist role. You would help restaurant partners resolve online-ordering problems through chat, email, phone, and SMS.
Applicants need at least three years of customer-support or operations experience in SaaS, technology, or an online platform, plus experience with support-ticketing systems and troubleshooting. Exact working hours are not listed.
The national base salary range is $48,000–$70,600 per year. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) match, paid leave, and other benefits. DoorDash states that it never asks applicants to pay money during hiring.
3 – Reformation – Seasonal Customer Love Associate
Reformation is hiring remote Seasonal Customer Love Associates in Georgia. You’ll help shoppers with orders, shipping, returns, and product questions through channels including email, text, and chat.
This part-time seasonal job offers 8-29 hours per week. You need flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The team’s operating hours are 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Central, Monday through Sunday.
Pay is $17.60-$18.65 per hour. Prior e-commerce customer service experience and familiarity with Kustomer and Google Suite are preferred. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills are needed.
4 – American Home Shield / Frontdoor – NHC Specialist I
American Home Shield / Frontdoor is hiring a remote NHC Specialist I in the United States. American Home Shield is one of Frontdoor’s home-warranty brands, and you would help with warranty questions by phone and email, maintain case files, coordinate repairs and claims, and resolve complaints.
You need a high school diploma or equivalent, one to two years of office experience, and skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook. An associate degree is preferred, but it isn’t required.
The job is full-time, although the exact hours are not listed. Pay is $18 to $20 per hour.
5 – Godiva – Seasonal Customer Care Representative
Godiva is hiring remote Seasonal Customer Care Representatives in the United States through its parent company, pladis.
You would help customers by phone and email, prepare quotes, place orders and resolve service questions. This is full-time seasonal work, although exact hours are not listed.
You need a high school diploma, previous customer-support experience and Microsoft Office skills. Four years of customer-service or outbound-sales experience is preferred, not required.
Pay is $19 to $24 per hour, with a quarterly incentive opportunity.
6 – Instacart – Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist
Instacart is hiring a remote Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist in the United States, excluding Alaska and U.S. territories. You would help customers, shoppers, retailers, and advertisers by phone, chat, and email.
This is full-time work, 40 hours per week, with evening, weekend, and holiday availability required. You need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of customer-facing experience, and fluency in spoken and written Spanish.
The listed base pay ranges from $17.31 to $21.88, depending on location, although the posting does not specify the pay period. Benefits include a work-from-home setup stipend and internet reimbursement.
7 – Safelite – Customer Service Representative
Safelite is hiring remote Customer Service Representatives for January 2027 classes. You would help customers with auto-glass service and schedule appointments. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with no overnight shifts. You need previous customer-service or contact-center experience and a high school diploma or GED, although current enrollment is also accepted. Pay starts at $18 an hour plus bonus opportunities, and you would be paid weekly. The job is open in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, and you must provide a compatible Windows computer and wired internet.

Disney has a remote Streaming Media Assistant opening listed in California, helping keep live and on-demand video running.
You should have strong computer skills and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays, while technical or digital-media experience is preferred.
The hiring range is $74,300 to $99,500 per year based on a 40-hour week, although scheduled hours may vary.
9 – Penguin Random House – Credit and Collections Associate
Penguin Random House is hiring a remote Credit and Collections Associate to manage customer accounts, answer billing questions by phone and email, and follow up on overdue payments.
You need a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or a related field. Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Outlook are required.
The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern, and pay is $40,000-$42,000 per year. The posting also mentions potential hybrid work opportunities.
10 – Angi – Inside Sales Representative
Angi is hiring full-time remote inside sales representatives in eligible U.S. states and Washington, D.C. You will call home-service providers, explain Angi’s lead-generation services, and close sales. The role can involve up to 200 calls a day.
