Updated October 11, 2024.
Direct Interactions is a reputable company that hires people to work from home within the United States.
It appears the majority of their positions are inbound calls, so you would not be doing sales or outbound/cold calling like you might with phone sales jobs.
I've read some good things about this company and it does appear they have some positions open now, so I thought it would be a great time to do an overview!
Please note the positions they have listed vary, so there is not really a one-size-fits-all description. Your location, the hourly pay, and other details will vary depending on what jobs are open.
Working For Direct Interactions
As of today (10/11/24), Direct Interactions is hiring remote customer service reps. Ohio residence is preferred, but it does not say this is required.
For this position, you would be required to process, navigate and research unemployment insurance claims.
There is training before you start work that lasts for 11 days and is paid. It's also all virtual.
Direct Interactions Pay Rate
You will earn $15 hourly plus benefits and performance bonuses.
Payments come in bi-weekly via direct deposit.

Direct Interactions needs you to work at least 15 hours per week are required (you select when you can work with the exception of Monday).
This specific role is considered part time with the opportunity for full time, based on business needs.
Requirements to Apply
This is pretty entry-level. No college is required, but you must have a high school diploma or GED. You will also have to be able to pass a criminal background check.
If you know you can't pass the background check, I do have a list of companies that don't do background checks you might want to look over.
This opportunity is open to US residents only with the exception of New York and California.

Feedback
The reviews on Glassdoor aren't terrible. They get a 3.6 overall with workers liking the flexibility and their supervisors.
Complaints include the low pay. Also there are complaints stating that you can't get the hours you'd like all the time.

Looking For Even More Legit Remote Jobs?
FlexJobs is one of my favorite sites to use for finding remote jobs and learning about new companies that hire remotely.
Most of what I see there when I check the listings pays well above minimum wage and are known companies.
The great thing about FlexJobs is that they guarantee ALL listings are scam-free. They list hundreds of jobs — all of which are either remote or flexible in nature — five days per week.
There are also no ads on the site!
Because there are no ads, they do charge a membership fee since that is the only way they can see a return on their job-searching efforts.
But it's cheap — you can get access for a few weeks for just $2.95 for 14 full days!
If you sign up and don't like it, it's very easy to cancel right away so you are not billed again. You can do it any point during your 14 days of checking things out.
Go here to check out FlexJobs.
Good luck to you!

Michigan gets overlooked MOST of the time as usual. How can anyone living in the state of Michigan such as myself “work from home” if these companies will NOT offer their jobs in the one of the largest states in the US?
They apparently don’t hire people from MD either.
Waah! Lol.
oh jasmine, why do you say that. I was just getting ready to apply.
Anna per the link says training pay now is 9.35 not sure you want to update the review to reflect the change though.
Thanks for letting me know!
I just applied for their fitness customer support rep and hope to hear back soon. It’s doing emails, which I would LOVE!
Now this is the type of at-home job I love, want and would like to have- taking payments and keying in basic info from customers, since that’s what I’ve done mostly throughout my time working in physical locations from the home.
I applied to a Quality Assurance position with this company and have yet to hear back.
I just now was in the process of filling out the application to apply for Direct Interactions, unfortunately when I was looking for my State to put it in, well it wasn’t there! LOL So I guess they aren’t hiring in NJ – a heads up just in case anyone else from NJ is looking at this company..
Thanks for the heads up, I noticed as well that NJ was not on the list. In the section for city I entered my city, NJ and picked Pa as my state since I live close to that area. I’ll let everyone know if I get contacted and try to answer the question of why NJ is not on the list
This sounds like an awesome opportunity, too bad I don’t have a landline phone. Other than that the requirements sound pretty simple and they don’t require too much technical stuff like other companies. Thanks for all of the helpful posts!
