If you're familiar with online survey panels, you already know they aren't going to replace your income. But if you're looking for a simple way to earn a little extra money in your spare time, they're one of the easiest options out there! I take these myself and enjoy them.
No experience needed, no set schedule, and most of them are free to join. AND many of them offer cash payouts via Paypal, so very easy and straightforward.
We've covered a lot of survey panels here on the site, but this list is specifically going to be focused on panels that pay via PayPal.
I've also noted the other payout options each one offers, in case PayPal isn't your preference. All of the panels listed here are free to sign up for (as they should be — ones that charge are scams).
Online Surveys That Pay Via Paypal
1 – PaidViewpoint
PaidViewpoint is one of my personal favorites in the survey space, and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. What makes them stand out is their no-disqualification policy. Once you're invited to a survey, you complete it and get paid, period. No wasted time getting screened out halfway through.
Surveys are short and straightforward, usually under 10 minutes. As you build up your TraitScore by answering honestly, you unlock access to higher-paying surveys over time.
The first cashout minimum is $15, but it drops to $10 after that, and eventually just $5. Payments via PayPal are processed within 72 hours, but in my experience I get it the same or next business day. Open to 50+ countries. Free to join with a $1 signup bonus.

2 – Sproutful
Sproutful is a rewards site that lets you earn points for taking surveys, along with playing games if you want another way to earn.
Before you start a survey, you can see the estimated time and payout, which makes it easier to decide whether it's worth taking. You only need $5 in your account to cash out.
Sproutful is currently open to the US and can be used from your phone or computer.

3 – Tellwut
Tellwut has a community feel that most survey sites don't. Beyond regular surveys, you can create and vote on polls, interact with other members, and earn points through daily activities.
They've been around since 2012 and consistently make SurveyPolice's top picks list year after year!
Cashout minimum is $10 and payments go out fast, often within 24 hours of your request. Open to US and Canada only. Free to join with a signup point bonus.

4 – YouGov
YouGov is one of the most well-known survey panels out there, and for good reason. They've been around for over 20 years and their research is regularly featured in major media outlets.
Most surveys focus on politics, current events, and consumer topics, and you can expect about 5–7 invitations per week. You earn points for each completed survey, which can be redeemed for PayPal cash or gift cards from retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy.
A nice perk is that they rarely send you surveys you won't qualify for. The cashout threshold is higher than most panels at 30,000 points, so this one's more of a slow burn. Open to the US, UK, and international members. Free to join, and new members get a signup point bonus.

5 – Survey Junkie
Survey Junkie has been around since 2013 and has over 20 million members, which tells you it's well-established. You earn points for each survey you complete, and even if you get screened out partway through, you still get a small consolation amount.
Cashout minimum is just $5, and PayPal payments process almost instantly once requested. Open to the US, Canada, and Australia. Free to join with a small signup bonus.

6 – Branded Surveys
Branded Surveys is a survey panel open to people 16 and older in the US, UK, and Canada. You earn points for taking surveys, and 500 points equals $5.
