Product Testing Through ExpoTV/Tryology

April 24, 2013 9 comments by

product testing panelsI know some of you really like doing product reviews and getting the opportunity to test out free items, so for that reason I decided to share some information about ExpoTV with you today. This doesn’t necessarily earn you money, but it is a way to get a little something extra.
How ExpoTV Works
When you sign up for ExpoTV, you are encouraged to create short reviews of products in video form. After uploading the videos you create, you earn points that you can trade in for items in the Expo store. The Expo store contains lots and lots of gift cards — including gift cards to Amazon.com. Those are always useful! They also have some merchandise you can…

Become a Mom Ambassador for Moms Meet

October 24, 2012 0 comments by

become a mom ambassador for moms meetI recently signed up to become a Mom Ambassador for Moms Meet and so far, I am extremely impressed with how it’s going. I have always been excited to get free things, and if you qualify for this program, you’ll get freebies for yourself as well as for other moms you know.

This is not work from home, but it does fall under the “product testing” category, which is something I do occasionally go into detail about on this blog. If you’re a mom who likes testing products, I really think you’ll enjoy this program.

And yes, you can sign up if you’re a dad! I saw them post…

List of Product Testing and Opinion Panels for Major Brands

January 23, 2012 9 comments by

Product Testing for Major BrandsThere are many major name brands that have their own user product testing and opinion panels. People who tend not to trust the typical survey sites are often more secure in signing up with these panels because they are familiar with the brand behind the panel. Also, it’s exciting (for some) to feel like you’re “in the know” when it comes to new products and ideas these brands have in store for the future.
My Experience
I have personally had good and bad experiences with panels like these. I became a member of one panel, I believe it was either through Allure or Glamour magazine, and got a huge box full of Herbal Essence shampoo…

Get Paid to Test Clothes for GARB Online

October 26, 2011 5 comments by

Get Paid to Test ClothesUpdate Dec. 9, 2012 – The Garb panel is gone. Sorry! You can go here for more product testing opportunities.
GARB Online is a product testing panel that pays you to test out clothing from major manufacturers. I decided to write a little about this one today because it’s sort of unique. Most other product test panels want to send you food, household stuff, and so on (with the exception of Crowdtap who regularly conducts Old Navy product tests). Anyway, while not a “job” this is probably a fun little side earner worthy of mention.
How much does GARB Online pay for clothing tests?
The cash amount for project rewards could be anywhere…

Word of Mouth Marketing and Product Testing With BzzAgent

July 29, 2011 6 comments by

Word of Mouth MarketingBzzAgent is a pretty popular product testing program that you’ve probably heard of. The premise is pretty simple: you do some word of mouth marketing for Bzz Agent (tell your friends and family what you think about the products they let you test) and they’ll not only let you keep the products you test, they’ll keep sending you more products. The more active you are, the higher the quality of the products you’ll get to try out.
How are you paid?
BzzAgent does not pay you in cash. Just the products you get to test and keep. But some of these products are pretty nice — I have a friend who got to test (and keep) a rather…

House Party – Share Free Products With Your Friends

April 28, 2011 5 comments by

House PartyWhat is House Party?

House Party is sort of like a product testing site, only instead of giving you just one product to test, they give you several products so you can share them with your friends/family at a “house party.”

How does House Party compensate people who participate?

Unfortunately, House Party does not pay you in cash — just the free products you will receive for hosting a party. I have decided to list House Party here because even though no money is involved, free stuff is free stuff and those of us who struggle financially can certainly benefit from getting anything at no charge! House Party normally sends out enough items for…

Join Pinecone Research for the Top Paid Surveys Online!

April 27, 2011 16 comments by

pinecone researchWhat is Pinecone Research?
Pinecone Research is pretty much the most coveted survey panel in existence. It seems everyone wants to be a member, but becoming a member is a bit of a challenge because Pinecone doesn’t accept applicants all the time. Sometimes existing panelists can send referral invitations to people they know to join, but they get just a limited number of these. Pinecone has been around since 1999 and even though the panel has gone through some significant changes since then, they remain one of the most sought after survey companies to join up with.
How much does Pinecone pay per survey?
Pinecone pays $3 per survey taken. This amount used to…

Crowdtap

What is Crowdtap?
Crowdtap is a website that will reward you for giving input on various brands and products. The site is still in beta mode and has been in existence since 2010.

How much does Crowdtap pay?
The rewards you earn with Crowdtap are ultimately going to be in the form of Amazon gift codes and charity donations. You might also get to test out products that you can keep as well as other types of rewards for your participation. You will see cash in your account, and this might confuse you at first because you can’t take it out as cash. When you have $5 showing up in your account, you can redeem it…
