One of the most common requests I receive from readers are for those remote jobs that offer higher pay. And in this day and time, I totally get it. With the rising costs of groceries and gas, many people are having to work two jobs just to make ends meet! It seems it keeps getting more and more expensive to live every single year.
If you are needing a remote job but need at minimum $18 hourly for the work you do, read on. I have gone through the recent work at home job leads (these are located here) to narrow it down to just those companies that pay that much or more.
Please keep in mind that the requirements and skills will vary from company to company. Not all of these are entry-level. If you are looking for JUST entry-level work, you can see some options for that here.
Still, I encourage you to apply for anything you think you may be a fit for even if you don't tick off every box the company has listed. I have seen on several occasions where companies will make exceptions and hire people even if they aren't fully qualified on paper, just because they believe that person would be a perfect fit for the role.
Good luck to you if you apply for any of these. If any of the below positions are closed at the time you read this, just keep tabs on that company's “hiring” page to see if the position (or any other remote positions) are available. Usually if a company is offering one remote job, they are offering others as well.
I send out remote jobs all the time in free weekly newsletters. You can sign up to get those here.

Looking For More?
If so, FlexJobs is a good way to find them if you create an account and do a search. Their job board isn't free, but I've been a member and found it to be really useful for me because all the job leads fit the following criteria:
- All jobs are either remote or flexible in nature
- Scam-free (all jobs vetted by humans before posting)
- No ads or junk on their site, so you can browse distraction-free
- Hundreds of jobs posted every day across tons of categories
- Respected, long-standing, and truly useful
They let you try them out for 14 days for $2.95. So there is not much risk if you just want to create an account and see if you find anything you may want to apply for.
Good luck!
