Most work-from-home jobs still follow a Monday-through-Friday schedule. But some remote jobs use four 10-hour days, Sunday-through-Thursday schedules, weekend shifts, or later evening hours instead.
Today, I looked specifically for current remote jobs with alternate schedules where the employer actually spells out the workdays or shift hours. I did not include jobs that only say the schedule is “flexible,” and every opening below was open when I checked today (9/2/26).
I found several options for you! The list below includes 4×10 schedules, fixed weekend schedules, Sunday-through-Thursday work, and later evening shifts.

7 Current Remote Jobs With Alternate Schedules
1. Mainspring Energy — Associate Operations Support Specialist II, Nightshift
Mainspring Energy is hiring a remote operations support specialist to monitor system alerts, troubleshoot problems using established procedures, restart systems when necessary, and escalate more complicated issues to senior staff.
Schedule: Four 10-hour overnight shifts per week. You can work Saturday through Tuesday or Tuesday through Friday, from 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Pacific.
Pay: $22 to $26 per hour.
Requirements: Previous experience in operations, dispatch, customer support, or similar work is preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required, and previous night-shift experience is helpful but not required.
Location: The position is listed as remote. The posting does not provide a specific list of eligible states, so I would not assume it is available nationwide.
Mainspring says employees may occasionally need to help cover open shifts when coworkers are absent or on vacation.

2. Minted: Seasonal Customer Service Representative (Weekend Required)
Minted is hiring remote seasonal customer service representatives for the 2026 holiday season. Representatives help customers by phone, email, live chat, and social media with orders, custom products, shipping problems, and other questions.
Schedule: You will work five days each week, and at least one of those days must be Saturday or Sunday. Most shifts are eight hours and fall between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Pacific, although Minted says scheduled hours may change during the season.
Pay and location: The job pays $17.62 per hour in most eligible locations and $19.19 per hour in its listed Geo 2 metro areas. Applicants must live in AZ, AR, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MN, MO, MT, NC, NJ, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
This is temporary work running through the holiday season and into early January 2027. Training lasts two full weeks and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific, so that is another thing to consider before applying.
3. Jerry.ai: Remote Sales Associate (4-Day Option)
Jerry is hiring remote sales associates to help customers shop for insurance through its app. This is an inbound sales position, so you will be talking to people who have already started looking for insurance rather than cold-calling complete strangers.
Schedule: Jerry lets workers choose between a traditional schedule of five eight-hour days or a compressed schedule of four 10-hour days. That makes this one of the more interesting options here if having an extra day off every week is your main goal.
Pay: Pay is $19 to $21 per hour plus commission. Jerry also pays for the training and exam needed to get an insurance license if you do not already have one, and the company provides the equipment you need to work from home.
For its hourly positions, Jerry is currently hiring in AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, and VA. The company also provides benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and a 401(k) with matching.

4. Ultimate Medical Academy: Admissions Representative (Sunday-Thursday)
Ultimate Medical Academy is hiring a full-time remote admissions representative to speak with prospective students about its educational programs. The work includes phone calls, interviews, follow-ups, scheduling, and entering or maintaining student information.
Schedule: This position has a Sunday-through-Thursday schedule. You will work Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern and Monday through Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. Eastern, leaving Friday and Saturday off.
Pay and qualifications: Pay is $20 per hour. You need a high school diploma or equivalent plus at least two years of experience in education, customer service, sales, or a related field.
UMA provides paid training and offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, holidays, a 401(k), disability coverage, and other benefits. The listing describes the job as remote but notes that occasional planned travel or onsite work may be required.

5. Mercury: Customer Support Specialist (Weekend Schedule)
Mercury is hiring a remote customer support specialist to help business customers with account questions, cards, payments, applications, disputes, and other issues. Support is provided through chat, email, and phone.
Schedule: Mercury requires at least one weekend day and currently offers fixed Sunday-through-Thursday or Tuesday-through-Saturday schedules. The company says it can also accommodate schedules that include both Saturday and Sunday.
These are fixed schedules rather than rotating shifts, so you should know which days you are regularly expected to work. The job is available remotely within the United States and requires at least two years of customer experience or customer support work.
Pay: Base pay ranges from $43,300 to $52,500 for most U.S. employees. Applicants in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, and the San Francisco Bay Area have a listed range of $48,100 to $58,400.

6. Mudflap: Bilingual Customer Support Specialist (Weekend Schedule)
Mudflap is hiring a full-time bilingual customer support specialist to help independent truckers using its fuel and payment platform. This is a high-volume phone support position, and you must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
Schedule: The current posting lists several shifts that include weekend days. Two of the listed options are Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to midnight Eastern and Saturday through Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern.
Shift options can change, so check the live posting for the complete current schedule before applying.
Pay and qualifications: Pay ranges from $23 to $27 per hour. Applicants need at least two years of remote customer support experience, and experience with Zendesk or another customer-service ticketing system is also expected.
Mudflap says training lasts three weeks and that it ships the equipment needed for the job. Benefits include health-plan options, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and other perks.

7. Supabase: Support Engineer (4-Day Weekend Schedule)
Supabase has one of the clearest compressed weekend schedules I found, but this is also the most specialized job on the list. The company is hiring a remote support engineer to help developers troubleshoot technical problems involving its database and software platform.
Schedule: This is a full-time position made up of four 10-hour shifts permanently covering the weekend. The listing says the schedule runs Friday through Monday, based on hours of 16:00 to 02:00 UTC, although the exact local hours may vary depending on your time zone.
Supabase is primarily looking for someone located in a North or South American time zone, so it's not US only. Applicants need at least three years of experience providing developer support to technical customers along with strong SQL skills and experience using Linux or Unix systems and the command line.
Pay and benefits: The company does not disclose pay in the posting. Supabase is fully remote and lists benefits including health coverage, a technology allowance, equity ownership, professional-development money, and an annual company gathering.

What to Know About Remote Jobs With Alternate Schedules
A Four-Day Schedule Can Still Mean 40 Hours
As you may know, a four-day work schedule does not always mean fewer hours. Several jobs above use a compressed 4×10 schedule, which means you still work 40 hours but you just fit them into four longer days.
That can give you an extra day off each week, but 10-hour workdays are long workdays.

Training May Follow a Different Schedule
Training hours and workdays can sometimes be very different from the schedule you will have afterward.
As an example, some companies may use a Monday-through-Friday training schedule before its 4×10 shift begins, and Minted listed in this post also trains Monday through Friday even though the regular schedule requires a weekend day.
So you'll get your alternate schedule with those companies, you just have to do the Mon-Fri training time first.
Weekend and Evening Work Is Common
Several of the alternate-schedule remote jobs above do require at least one weekend day, and some also include evening hours.
You need to think about how those shifts will fit with family plans, sleep, childcare, and other commitments before you decide to apply.

How to Find More Remote Jobs With Alternate Schedules
Alternate work schedules are definitely out there, but you usually have to look closely at the actual job description to find them.
A listing that says “flexible schedule” may still require five normal weekdays, so don't just assume you can choose your days unless the employer specifically says you can do that.
When searching on your own, try phrases like 4×10 remote jobs, four 10-hour shifts remote, weekend remote jobs, or Sunday-through-Thursday remote jobs.
Those searches are usually a lot more useful than going and looking for jobs that claim to offer a flexible schedule.
