If you're seeking a flexible way to earn money from home by teaching the English language, Englishunt offers online English teaching jobs that might suit you!

Established in Korea around 2003, Englishunt has an impressive two decades of experience in the Korean ESL market.

They provide remote tutoring jobs for U.S. residents, allowing you to teach ESL online to South Korean students.

What You Do For Englishunt

As an Englishunt tutor, you'll interact with South Korean students of all ages, from young learners to adults.

Tutoring sessions are conducted via video or phone, with class durations ranging from 10 to 20 minutes.

While some classes may have multiple students, one-on-one sessions are also common, especially for phone tutoring.

Note you do NOT have to speak Korean to do this work.

What Englishunt Pays

Englishunt's pay varies depending on the program and individual arrangements with clients.

According to their official website, online video tutors start at $16.00 per hour, with shifts typically in the afternoon Korean Time, corresponding to 1 am to 3 am EST.

Additionally, Glassdoor reports that the estimated total pay for an Online English Teacher at Englishunt ranges from $21 to $33 per hour. This refers to base salary and additional pay.

It's important to keep in mind that compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis, and individual instructor packages depend on program placement.

There are also opportunities for additional income through writing or editing ESL/EFL content, reviewing student essays, and voice recording, though these are merit-based and not guaranteed.

Payment Process at Englishunt

Englishunt sends payments to instructors via direct deposit from a U.S. bank. So to receive payment, you must have a U.S. bank account.

As an independent contractor, you're responsible for managing your own taxes, and no withholdings will be deducted. Keep this in mind before you apply if that is a problem for you.

Englishunt sends a 1099 form to all instructors to assist with tax filing.
