What Dealspotr Is
In a nutshell, Dealspotr makes me think of Facebook, only it’s all deals. There is a “feed” with the newest deals posted at the top when you log in. These deals update in real-time.
When you initially sign up, you’re prompted to follow certain interests, brands, and even people. This way, anything relevant to you will appear in your feed (at the top) each time you log in, so you’re only seeing stuff you care about.
And similar to Facebook, if you have Dealspotr friends/followers, you can re-post the deals you see on your feed so they show up to people you’re connected with on the site.
How You Can Earn Using Dealspotr
As a member of the Dealspotr community, you earn rewards for doing things like sharing, liking (spotting), talking about deals, commenting on deals, following other users, flagging deals, adding interests to deals, and of course referring other users to join the site.
If you’re a blogger, you can become a Dealspotr “influencer” and be eligible to earn even more. Be sure to use access code 0qAW7Gjc when you sign up to be promoted to “influencer” status as a blogger.
Another cool thing you can do on Dealspotr is vote on the day’s best deals. They give you a certain number of times you can do this per day. This number goes up the longer you’re active on the site. If you’re correct and the things you vote for actually do turn out to be the best deals for that day, you get even more points.
Dealspotr also gives you a “daily checklist” of different things you can do that day to earn bonus points.
What You Can Earn Using Dealspotr
As of now, it looks like you get Amazon gift cards. For every 10,000 points you earn on Dealspotr, you’re eligible for a $10 Amazon gift card. So the more active you are on the site, the more often you will earn gift cards.
My First Impressions
I signed up and started digging around. Overall, it’s very easy to browse, user-friendly, and I think it just might replace other sites I’ve been using to look for deals. I really love the idea of a “deals feed” showing things I’m interested in, rather than anything and everything.
However, I selected a lot of different options when I signed up. So, I wish now I was more selective because there are things I don’t care about in my feed. I’m going to have to do some tweaking there.
I signed up (under another user and got 5K points), found a deal, submitted it, and I’m already at 7K points! Very close to my first gift card. You can see the screenshot of my first day progress below:
This seems like a fun, interactive site to use. They have a daily leaderboard and all kinds of prompts asking you to do other things that will increase your points, getting you closer to that 10,000 point threshold so you can redeem!
I’m going to play around and spend some time here. I love looking for deals anyway, so why not share them and then earn for it?
UPDATE 10/20/16: I redeemed my first Amazon code from Dealspotr. It only took 48 hours for it to arrive in my inbox.
