A month ago I ran across a job posting for My365Assistant.com. I immediately applied, not sure what to expect. My wait for a reply was very short, maybe a day or two. My reply was an immediate request for an interview. Not knowing what to expect, I made it as soon as possible and began to write out a list of possible questions. I did not get a chance to ask those questions because the day of my interview the caller was 45 minutes late. My phone rang one time and then the call was dropped. When I tried to return the call, I got a full mailbox. I had tried another number and ended up leaving a message, not wanting them to think I flaked out. Once I hung up, my next step was to email the person back and let them know that I had my phone ring once, and I had hoped everything was clear on their end.

It was not. The next day I received an email from someone else regarding down servers causing the internet and phone system to go down. It was a new company, so I paid that no mind. Growth pains can be painful, but we all go through them with our business. After a few emails passed back and forth I ended up in orientation. At the time I was still questioning a commission only job, but felt that it was easy enough I had nothing to lose. April 21 was my first “working” day and within a few days I was made Michigan’s District Manager.

I started at 100% commission. I recently (today May 16) switched to the new program which is pay per lead. The company is brand new, but not the people behind it. With the help of a few others we did a complete investigation with the company. Everything is legit and we’ve since made it through our first payday. Yes, this company pays! Wooohooo! I know when working from home this is one of the biggest obstacles.

There have been a lot of shifts within the company. This is to be expected with a start-up. Some good, some bad, but what I like the best is that the owners are more than willing to listen and work things out with us. I don’t know too many bosses like that. There has been nothing but an open line of communication with division and company managers. That is a huge plus for me.

So, let’s get to the nitty gritty that you came here to read…

The work is fairly easy. You do need to have some sort of management or team leading skills to be a district or territory manager. To become a staffing consultant you should have the basic understanding of lead generation because you are responsible for finding leads that could result in a sale. Your past experience is important, but not as much as your desire to be a team player, your motivation, work ethics, and desire to work with the company. The biggest skill I think people need right off the bat are good researching skills. You must know where to look to find people who can benefit from our service.

A personal email and fax system is set-up for you. Again, at time of publication I should mention that the fax service is being switched to another company. If you already have a virtual fax service, you can use that without problems.

From what I understand insurance benefits will be added this summer. There are bonus plans, contests, and other ideas in the works. There are a couple of different pay plans to choose from after the initial 60 day probation. You can also switch pay plans after 6 months if you feel a different one better suits your needs.
Because it is a new company, things will change from time to time until they work out all of the kinks. Patience and dedication are the key ingredients to being successful with My365.

Is commission work for everyone?

No. While I work on my pipeline I am also working on the side with my freelance business, pen name books, and my graduate degree. Because this is a new business, it will take time to build. I am not walking into this with blinders on. I do not expect anyone to quit their day job or side gig for this. You will someday, but not right now. Working a commission job is just like starting your own business. It can also be compared to direct sales. Both work on the mission of seek and find.

Is it hard?

Not at all. But you should devote plenty of time during the day to seeking leads and making connections. There is a monthly quota that has to be met. You will have days where no one will call you. No one will send you an email. All of your voicemails are people saying to please not contact them in the future. You will have bad days. You just have to stay motivated, see the big picture, and keep pushing forward. It does all pay off in the end.

I honestly feel as we continue to work hard the company will grow, allowing us to grow with it. There is a great amount of potential with this company. They offer a product that has a need. It serves a purpose.

One of the main things I disliked about working as a ChaCha guide way back when was their payment methods. You either had to have $100 accumulated for direct deposit once a month to your bank account or you had to go to a lot of trouble and sign up for an actual bank account at a strange bank in Indiana in order to get your money right away through instant withdrawal. Also, if you did withdraw your funds instantly, ChaCha always deducted $2 right off the top.

Good news! You no longer have to open up a bank account in Indiana in order to get your funds right away. ChaCha now pays with Paypal! Yes, we never thought it would happen I know, but they do I honestly thought I would never see the day.

There’s Still a Fee

The bad news is that there is still a fee for instantly withdrawing your money, but this amount has been cut back to $1 instead of $2.

The Pay is Still Low

The other bad news is that, sadly, ChaCha is still not known for being the highest-paying gig around. I would never advise anyone to replace their income doing work there. Regardless, ChaCha has value because you can get your money right away. Even if you’re only earning $3 to $4 an hour, there is something to be said for being able to hit that cash-out button whenever you want to and see your funds go straight into your bank account.

The Work is Fun

Most people agree that, even though the pay at ChaCha is low, it’s fun work. This is especially true if you like to research things online because you never know what kinds of questions are going to come through.

Saving money is just about as important as making it. The more you are able to save, the more you can keep of what you earn! Here’s a list of the top 5 ways you can save yourself money online:

Online Coupons

This is the most obvious way you can save. Just about every company you can think of comes out with coupons you can print and then use at the store when you shop. These are especially helpful when you need more coupons than what you can get from your weekly Sunday coupon insert.

Sign Up For Freebies

Free stuff is everywhere, and not all of it is sample/trial-sized. If you keep tabs on all the freebies floating around on the internet, you could score some pretty good stuff without even paying a dime. I try to sign up for all the good freebies I come across, and I can assure you that in many cases these little items have saved the day. Case in point — forgetting to buy shampoo when you go grocery shopping and not realizing it until you’re already in the shower That’s when those little shampoo samples you have stashed away will suddenly be priceless!

Read Product Reviews Before You Buy

Don’t ever make a purchase (especially a big one) until you read some customer reviews. This could save you a lot of time and money. You can probably skip this if it’s a product you are familiar with and you’ve used the store before, but if you haven’t, it does pay off to get an idea of what experience others who have used the same store/product had. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought a flawed product only to read the reviews after the fact and felt like kicking myself.

Look for Rebates

Try to find products that come with a rebate if you can. A lot of people don’t want to bother with rebates because they believe those are a hassle to send in, but it can really pay off if you use them. When you think about the purchase price, just mentally deduct what the rebate will be after you get it. In most cases this will mean that the product is cheaper than any other similar product out there.

Coupon Codes

 A good rule of thumb is to never make any online purchase without hunting up a coupon code first. There are tons of coupon codes floating around in cyberspace just waiting to be used against your purchases. Sometimes you’ll end up getting free shipping or at the very least a certain percentage off the total purchase price!

The tricky thing about coupon codes is knowing just to where to find them. A good place to start your search is Coupon Chief. I spent some time browsing the Coupon Chief website today and saw that they have coupon codes you can use towards most of the major retailers out there. It’s literally a huge database of coupon codes! So before you buy anything online, be sure to check there to see if they have a code you can use for their store.

You can also make some money online using Coupon Chief if you upload your own codes to their site through the Pays-2-Share program. Every time someone uses a coupon code you submitted, you’ll get two percent of the sale price

I don’t know about you, but I love to shop at Etsy! You can find some of the most unique vintage and handmade items there. If you’re creative and are looking for a good online outlet to showcase and sell your stuff, you might want to consider using Etsy.

What can you sell at Etsy?

I have seen all kinds of things for sale, but their rule is that it has to be either handmade, vintage (20 years old or older), or fall under the category of commercial and handmade supplies.

How much does it cost to list an item?

You’ll pay 20 cents to list one item for four months. Etsy will also charge a 3.5 percent transaction fee when you sell each item you list.

How does shipping and payment work?

If someone buys one of your items, they pay you through Etsy (the money goes straight to you). Then, you ship the item to the customer.

Can you set up your own Etsy store?

You can. And you can customize it however you want. Etsy gives you the option to design your store with banners and also add your own store policies, which would be useful to have in place when people want to return things, etc. You are also welcome to accept other forms of payment from your customers instead of Paypal (check, money order, etc.) if you are comfortable doing that.

Setting Up Your Account

To go ahead and set up your Etsy seller account, go here. They have the option available to sign up using your Facebook account, but this is not required. You’re free to just sign up with your email address if you’d prefer.

There are many companies, both online and off, that do a mandatory credit check before offering you employment. This kind of stinks because it means if you have bad credit and really need a job to get your bills paid and get back on your feet, you might not be able to if you fail the credit check.

Discrimination?

There are a lot of people who are 100 percent against this practice and consider it a form of discrimination. In fact, some people have raised such an uproar about it that the state of California finally put a law into place restricting companies from pulling a credit report before hiring a person.

My Opinion

I’ll be honest. I am not at all in favor of checking credit before hiring and I think that companies who have this in place are operating under the assumption that if you have bad credit, it’s somehow a character flaw. I disagree with this because sometimes things happen that are beyond your control (sudden medical issues, etc. that end up going to collections because you can’t pay back the bills for example). And even if it is in your control, well, we all make mistakes. Doesn’t mean we don’t want to do better and it doesn’t make us all “bad” people not worthy of being hired.

Of course, I’m sure there are plenty of people who are extremely dishonest with bad credit, but then there are probably plenty of extremely dishonest people with good credit, too. I think the assumptions aren’t really fair. It would be such a shame to lose out on a job you’re 110&% qualified for all because of your credit score

The Opposing Argument

The companies who do these claim that checking credit first prevents them from hiring people who have had past money troubles that might not be trustworthy. In the brick and mortar world, you’ll see the credit check a prerequisite fairly often if you are applying for a job that would require you to handle a lot of money. When you work at home, a credit check will occasionally be done if you’re applying for a customer service position where you’re privy to very sensitive information from others, such as credit card numbers or social security numbers.

How Bad is too Bad?

Before you go into complete panic mode over having your credit score checked, rest assured that as far as working from home is concerned, most companies do NOT require a perfect credit score before hiring you. It’s not like you’re trying to buy a house or a car. So don’t let a bad score stop you from putting in your app. Also, I’ve primarily just seen this with the phone customer service jobs. There are very few other work at home positions out there where you’d have to submit to having your credit pulled before working.

Bad Timing

I think it’s really unfortunate that all these companies are doing this now, with the current state of the economy the way it is. More people than ever are seeing their credit scores fall due to circumstances that are beyond their control. This just makes it even harder to get a job when you really need one.

Find Out Your Score

If you’re interested in knowing, right now, what your credit score is,  you can go to this site called Credit Sesame and get it for free with no waiting. This is not one of those “trial” offers. You will not be asked for your credit card information at all. You simply visit the site, put in your information, and they’ll give you your credit score for free with no strings attached. Keep in mind though that Credit Sesame will only pull your score from one of the three major credit bureaus. Still, this should give you a good idea of roughly where you’re at. They’ll also send you tips to help you increase it.

Hi everyone — I guess you readers who follow my posts regularly have noticed that I’ve been absent more than usual lately. This is because I’ve been moving from one house to another and the moving has been a multi-week process. My usually 5-6 posts a week has turned into more like 3-4 posts a week.

The good news is that the moving is just about wrapped up (thank goodness!) I cannot believe all the junk we’ve accumulated over time in the other house! But thankfully we did get rid of a lot of it that we didn’t need so we weren’t moving into the new place with a lot of stuff we never use

Later this month things should continue as normal. We will be totally moved and (hopefully) settled in and school will be out for the summer. I hope to go back to my regular posting schedule, and I also have a few other things in store for you:

Daily Job Leads

You may have noticed already that I’m trying to do job leads nearly every weekday now. Up until I guess this month, it’s been more like every other day. I want to get on a regular schedule with the leads. I am still undecided about the weekends because I don’t think it will always be possible for me to do them then. I guess it will just depend on if I have time. If you’re a subscriber (and you can become one by filling out the form on the right-hand side of the page), you will get my weekly newsletter that I occasionally send out over the weekend. I have been adding a few leads to this that don’t go live on the site until Sunday or Monday.

Sweepstakes Series

In case you didn’t know, I used to enter sweepstakes as a hobby. This was actually a pretty lucrative hobby because I entered so much that I won a good portion of the time. Granted some of the prizes were on the small side, but winning is winning! I gave this hobby up because I started working from home full-time and I no longer felt I had room in my schedule for this activity. I have always regretted giving this up because I think, “What might I have won by now had I just kept going with it?”

Well, I am about to start my old hobby back up again, and not only that, I’m going to share my progress and tips with  you in a monthly post I’ll publish on this blog. I’m going to share my winnings assuming I have any and also help you get started and share some of the resources I use if this is something that interests you, too. I might even link out to some of the more popular, high-dollar sweepstakes out there so that, if nothing else, you can enter those when you see them listed here.

You should see the first post in that series by the end of this month. I kind of doubt I’ll have any winnings to report by then since I’m late in the game here, but at the very least I can let you know how things are going with it and help you get started.

MySurvey is another site you can use for taking online paid surveys if that’s something you like to do in your spare time. MySurvey has been around for a long time (I was using them as far back as 2006 or 2007 when I first started taking paid surveys for extra cash) and they are certainly one of the more reputable panels out there.

How does MySurvey pay?

MySurvey pays in reward points, but fortunately you can redeem these points for Paypal cash if you want (that’s what I’ve always done). They also have gift cards and physical merchandise that you can redeem for, too, but I go with the Paypal money.

How many points do you get per survey?

MySurvey says you’ll get anywhere from 5 to 200 reward points per survey. The exact amount will depend on how long the survey is (longer ones tend to pay more). You need 1,000 points to cash out, and in my experience it really does not take long to get there as long as you are active and attempting every survey they send you.

Does MySurvey hand out any products to test?

Yes, they do this pretty often. I have tested a few products for MySurvey. Sometimes you’ll be asked at the end of a survey if you’d like to test out a product. This is always fun to do because they usually give you a bunch of reward points in addition to trying the product.

Is MySurvey open to other countries?

They are, but their other panels outside the U.S. may or may not be accepting panelists at this time. As of the date of this blog post, they are accepting U.S. panelists.

Is MySurvey free?

Of course! Any survey panel that isn’t free to join is definitely a scam. This is pretty much always true. You don’t have to pay anything to sign up to begin taking online paid surveys for MySurvey.

How many surveys do they send out?

It really varies. They claim they won’t send more than one a week or one every few weeks.

Do I recommend MySurvey?

This is one panel I do have experience with and I have to say it’s always been positive. Just keep in mind that you’re doing this for extra  money/rewards and that it can’t ever be like an actual job. But extras do seem to add up over time and help out when you need it most.

Blogmutt is a writing platform that connects writers to website owners for the purpose of ghostwriting blog posts. The customers are usually either too busy to write posts for their business’ blog or simply because writing isn’t their strong suit. If these business owners want to have highly informative content written for their target audience, they need to find someone to write it for them. So they turn to Blogmutt where they can find a pool of writers capable of creating blog posts that meet or exceed their expectations.

Brief History

Scott Yates and Wade Green founded Blogmutt in 2010 and began to take on customers and writers in 2011. Scott mainly deals with the customers, the writers and basically keeps everything running smoothly. Wade is in charge of the website, so he’s the one that fixes any bugs in the system and implements whatever improvements that they have planned.

The Writing Process

Once you’re signed up with Blogmutt and have been accepted, you can research the current customers. Each customer has their own page where you can see the keywords they want, links to their website or blog and a window showing their recent tweets. There’s also usually a paragraph or two stating what they’re looking for. As a writer, it’s up to you to do your research using these resources. You can also view the posts that they have approved and rejected, though you can’t see who wrote them.

So, you pick one of their keywords and use it at least once in the title and in the body of the post. Sometimes you have to work in a ‘contact us’ hyperlink at the end, but it’s easy enough to do. When you’re done writing, you can submit it to the customer. There are no editors except for the customer, so you don’t have to worry about any of that. You don’t have to touch it again unless they want it edited.

Queue/Edit/Posted/Rejected

After it’s submitted, your post will go into the customer’s queue which could be empty or really full. Since it’s a queue, you might have to wait for your turn. This isn’t always the case since some customers grab every single post that lands in their queue all at once or daily. A lot of them only take one a week on Thursday. You can see how many posts the customers have taken in the past week, which is a very useful feature. Once your post is taken, the money is deposited into your Blogmutt account immediately.

There’s no guarantee that your post will sell just because it’s first in line. If they like one of the posts behind you in the queue better than yours, they might just grab that one. I’ve had it happen to me. On the other hand, if they really like yours, they might take it ahead of everyone else. That has also happened to me and I was sixth in line.

If a customer likes your post but feels like it could use some work, then they’ll flag it for editing and let you know what you need to improve on or add in. You can then edit and resubmit it for posting. That’s all pretty self explanatory. Rejections are a no-brainer, too. One thing worth noting about rejections is that you retain the rights to your post if the customer refuses it. You might want to save it to submit it to another customer after editing it a bit to fit their needs. Or, you might want to put it up on a blog for revenue. It’s totally up to you since it’s still yours.

Payment

If I could pick one thing that I’m not really happy about with Blogmutt, it would be the payment method. It really could be worse, but I’m an instant gratification kind of person, plus I often need money fairly frequently even if it’s in small amounts. Still, it’s not a deal breaker.

You are paid $8 for each post you sell as soon as it’s taken by the customer. Since there aren’t any hard and fast rules about word count aside from the fact that it should be around 350 words, this can wind up being a pretty decent amount of money compared to some other places. The drawback is that you can’t actually get the money in your hands right away.

You can submit an invoice for payment if it has been 30 days since your last one, or 30 days since you sold your first post if you’re new. However, you can submit an invoice at any time if you have at least $100 sitting there ready to be cashed out. So, you could get paid once a week if you work at it, and payments are processed on Monday or Tuesday. That’s 13 posts sold per week, so you just have to write enough and try to get at least 13 posted. Your chances are better if you write plenty of posts for a lot of different customers without putting all of your eggs into one basket. This is especially true because it will put you ahead for the next week and it will just get easier to keep up with.

Pros:

• No editors to deal with and the customers aren’t usually too picky. Nine times out of ten, they will take your post when it’s your turn, if not before.

• The ability to research the customers through their websites and twitter feed as well as browsing the posts they’ve bought or rejected.

• The large variety of topics available to write about and plenty of keywords to pick from with each customer.

• The owners are very active in the forums, especially Scott, and it’s easy to get in touch with them. You don’t wait for a week to get a response if you have a question, concern or suggestion.

Cons:

• The payment method. I already discussed it above. While it’s not that bad since you can take it out at $100, it can be frustrating to try to get to the point where you are able to reliably hit the threshold every week.

• You can’t directly communicate with the customers.. If you have a question, you need to go through Scott. If the customer wants an edit and leaves some instructions on what they want you to do but you don’t really understand it, you can’t just write them back.

In conclusion, I just want to say that I’m really happy with Blogmutt overall, which is fairly obvious since I have twice as many pros as I do cons. Blogmutt is making improvements to the system all of the time, so I don’t even know how long those cons will be relevant. If you’re the type of person who likes to write blog posts but doesn’t want to deal with making a blog of your own, this would be a good option.The pay is fair, the work is plentiful and the staff is awesome, plus it’s nice to get away from formal writing for once. Also, keep in mind that if your blog is very new, it might take a while to see much return on your efforts no matter what money-earning avenues you take. Still, it’s very much worth it if you just keep plugging away.

Pay Per Click Ads

You can create an account with Google Adsense (the most popular network) or other places and put ads on your blog. These are often pay per click, though some might be pay per impression. The amount you get per click will vary depending on what ad is displayed. As stated above, most people use Google Adsense, but if that won’t work for you, you can try Chitika ads. If you like the idea of getting paid per impression, consider Izea Media. Please note that you do have to apply and get approved for a Social Spark account in order to take advantage of the Izea Media publisher program.

In-Text Links

In-text links are those that you see inside the text of a blog post. On this blog, they are the double-underlined purple links. Yes, I know they can be annoying to some people (OK, maybe most people), but if you need to make money with your blog, you may want to consider using them because they do pay off. Check out this post from Miranda at Work at Home Adventures to read how using Infolinks has helped boost her blog earnings.  I also recommend Infolinks, but you do have other options, such as Kontera and IntentClick.

Become an Affiliate

You can register your site with some companies/affiliate networks and get paid for recommending certain products and services to your readers. If you readers take action on something you’ve recommended, either by signing up with their email address (pay per lead) or by actually making a purchase (pay per sale), then you get paid! But please try to do this honestly and stick with recommending things that you feel might actually be worthwhile to at least some of your readers.

There are a lot of bloggers that make the bulk of their money through affiliate marketing. I’m about to give you a list of some popular affiliate networks to join, but keep in mind that some of them are very picky when it comes to getting approved. They usually want to know how old your site is, how much traffic you get, etc. So don’t be disappointed if you don’t get approved immediately by some. Just try again in a few more months:

Sponsored Posts

Some companies/brands will pay you to write posts about them on your blog! Again, the honesty rule applies. If you only write glowing reviews about all these random brands, your readers will begin to suspect that you’re not being totally honest. When you write  sponsored posts, for sure list all the pros, but don’t be afraid to point out the occasional con just because you’re being paid for the post. Try to remain as unbiased as possible, your readers will appreciate it.

Paid Advertisers

You can also earn money offering paid advertising space anywhere on your blog. Just create an “Advertise here” page on your site with the rates and information. Make sure the page contains details regarding how much you charge for different ad sizes (125×125, 250×250, 468×60, and 728×90 are four popular sizes if you’re not familiar with that aspect of it).

Potential advertisers sometimes want to know details about your site, such as how much traffic you get each month and also your Alexa and PR (Page Rank). So find out what your stats are on these things and list that on your page. When it comes to Alexa rankings, the lower the better. With PR, the higher the better. If your site is very new, you are probably going to have a lower PR and a higher Alexa, but you’ll most likely see these numbers rise as you add more content and your site ages.

You might want to consider also adding an “Advertise Here!” graphic in your sidebar so that potential advertisers will know that you offer paid space. Try to make the graphic link back to the “Advertising” page you created.

When I research job leads, I often come across a lot of companies that are looking for ESL tutors. If you want to work from home and are qualified to do this, this could be a great way to make some money! The requirements vary from company to company as does the pay. Some want a college degree, others don’t mind if you have don’t have one. Also, sometimes the work will be done online while other times it’s via phone and/or webcam. Here’s a long list of places to check out if you think this type of work might be for you:

• Berlitz – This company pays $13 an hour for ESL tutoring. You must be a native English or French speaker to be considered.
• English Hunt - Often hires online video English teachers (independent contractors). Must have a four-year degree and have either teaching or substitute teaching certification.
• GoFLUENT – Hires tutors in the U.S. and Canada (certain areas only). This is a company I have reviewed. You can read the review of GoFLUENT here.
• Rosetta Stone – Currently hiring (Seattle only) online language tutors.
• TutorABC (TutorGroup) – Must have a four-year degree. Read my review of TutorABC here.
• Kaibell – Hires U.S. citizens for English tutoring. All work done via Skype. Must have degree. Read my review of Kaibell here.
• Open English – Hires native English speakers for online tutoring. Must be able to put in 15 hours per week. Read my review of Open English here.
• Language Spirit – No degree required for this one. Pays with Paypal.
• SameSpeak – If your first language is English, you can apply. You will earn $10 for every half-hour tutor session you complete. Also, you can be as young as 16 to sign up.
• Hello English, Inc. – Teaching Japanese students English. Work is done via Skype. Pays with Paypal weekly.
• Talkool – Teach South Koreans English over the phone. Their site has not fully launched yet, but they did advertise for this position on WAHM recently.
• Isus- Isus hires online ESL telephone teachers. Pay is monthly.

A lot of people are also starting up their own tutoring business from home and advertising their services. You would have to market yourself to make this work, but it would be a good way to get some private clients and charge what you want while also working when you want!

There are times when many of us find ourselves in a bind and we need money today, even if it’s just a couple of bucks. Fortunately, there are some websites you can use for these emergencies. I’m not going to lie to you, many of them don’t pay well and will never replace your income. Regardless, they can save you in a pinch when you need it most.

Here is a list of sites that are known for paying every day:

Postloop

Postloop is paid forum posting. I’ve written a long, detailed review on exactly how it works and how to get started here. It’s definitely possible to earn $5 to $10 per day here (more than that I’m not sure because it’s been adding up slowly for me), and once you have earned 100 points ($5), you can request your withdrawal. They always pay fast with Paypal, usually within a few hours or less after you request your funds.

Cloud Crowd

This is another site that pays every day with Paypal. I reviewed them a long time ago here, but that review might be a little out of date (I apologize if it is because I’m sure they’ve changed some things since I wrote it). Cloud Crowd is a task site, and there’s usually a lot of work up in a variety of different categories, including writing and editing. They pay with Paypal daily no matter how much you’ve earned (no minimums). Some people have had good experiences with this site while others have not. I would for sure recommend reading the comments on my review (above).

Amazon MTurk

This is another task-based site. They have a variety of work to choose from in several different categories. They pay with bank transfer and it can take about two days for money from there to hit your account, but you only need $10 to request a payout. The way to get money in your hands daily from here is to request a payout every day. Then, within a few days, you’ll start seeing daily deposits from MTurk to your bank account. Is it easy to make $10 a day on Amazon MTurk? It actually is. You can look at my list of good HITS to do here if you’re interested in finding ones that are worthwhile.

ChaCha

ChaCha has been around for a while and I know that many of you either are or were guides. This is basically answering questions via text. People text in questions (all kinds) via their cell phones and you research and find the answers for them through your computer (they get the answer back in the form of a text from you on their phone). They have other roles (vetters, expeditors, etc.) with jobs that are similar. You can get paid instantly with ChaCha. In the past, this money went straight to a special ChaCha debit card, but now they are making the instant payments with Paypal (much more convenient!)

Jingit

Jingit has been getting a lot of positive buzz, so that’s always a good thing. Basically, you can earn money by giving your feedback, watching ads online, and checking in at stores/shopping. There are a lot of major brands on board with them (Wal-Mart, Kraft, etc.), so that makes me feel very confident in terms of how trustworthy this is.

You have to sign up for a prepaid Jingit Visa debit card, and once you have that, the money you earn for doing the things listed above goes straight to your account, so you can spend it right away. I can’t vouch for the amount you can earn per week because I haven’t tried this myself, but I do like that your money goes straight to that card so you can use it anytime you need it. Other users have claimed to make between around $5 to as much as $10 weekly though without much effort.

Even though you might not be able to get paid every single day with Jingit depending on what is available to do, it would still come in handy as emergency money. It might be a good idea to participate and just let the money build up on your card. Then if you find yourself in a bind, you can use what you’ve accumulated on your card
