Connect and Sell Work From Home Opportunity

April 30, 2013 2 comments by

connect and sell work from homeConnect and Sell is a company offering an interesting little work from home position. I contacted the company today to find out if they are actively hiring for it, and they are NOT. However, they did say they might hire another batch of workers the end of May — key word being “might.”

Anyway, what this company has you do is connect phone calls for business to business/sales companies. This frees up time for busy salesmen because when a call comes through to them, the customer they were trying to reach is already on the line, waiting to speak to them. You contact the customers and then when someone is on the…

Doing Voice Overs From Home

November 23, 2012 7 comments by

voice overs from homeThere are a lot of people making money from home doing voice over work. If you’re not familiar with what that is, it’s what you’re hearing when you watch just about any commercial when someone is talking over the video. Voice over artists are also used for radio and audio books. And don’t think you can’t do this because your voice doesn’t sound “perfect.” People with all different types of accents and tones are needed in this industry.

Before the days of the internet, your location might have mattered a little more than it does now  if you wanted to get into this line of work. But thanks to the internet and all the resources we have…

Get Paid to Help People Find Apartments

November 21, 2012 0 comments by

get paid to help people find apartmentsNextLanding is a new start up that I discovered a few weeks ago when I was looking up job leads. I saw today that they made a post on WAHM.com looking for applicants, so I figured I’d share it here. Please note that right now they are only actively looking for people with knowledge in the San Francisco and New York rental markets. However, you can still apply if you are from another area because I guess there is a good chance they’ll branch out at some point in the future.
What do you do for Next Landing?
You help people find apartments. Potential tenants pay Next Landing to get help…

unusual ways to earnThere are some things you can do to earn money that are really outside the norm! • Viggle – This is a smartphone app that allows you to earn rewards for watching TV. It can hear the TV shows as they are on and awards points in exchange for what you watch.
  • Ticket Puller – Paid to pull event tickets for people who want

Work at Home Moderation Jobs

June 20, 2012 2 comments by

How Can You Become a Community Moderator?I wrote an article several months ago about becoming a community moderator. These jobs are attractive to many because they are non-phone. If you have experience posting on forums or are familiar with online communities/social media management, you might enjoy a job like this. Your chances of landing a community moderator job are also much better if you’ve ever done any moderating before.

Since I wrote that first post that is kind of just an overview on what that sort of position entails as well as how you can find those kinds of jobs, I discovered a few companies that actually hire…

Make money with your recipesIf you love to cook and have some recipes you’re pretty proud of that you wouldn’t mind sharing, you can potentially earn a little money through a few different sources. I will be honest though — when I started researching for this article, I was really, really let down that there weren’t a lot of options out there for this. I was looking for a way you could possibly make a living just by writing and/or sharing recipes, but the options I found don’t guarantee that. Still…

Century Interactive Call ReviewerIn January, I posted about a non-phone opportunity involving call reviewing through Humanatic. A lot of you, like me, were very excited because the work sounded fun and easy. I have since spent a good bit of time doing the call reviewing and decided to write an update on it now that I know more and have some experience doing it. If you are unfamiliar with what job I’m referring to, you can read about it here.

Have a Blog or Website? Make Money as an Affiliate

    March 5, 2012 6 comments by

I’ve been blogging for almost two years now, and during that time I’ve done a lot of research on ways to earn money blogging. Earning through affiliate networks is something I’ve only been focusing on for the past several months. Hopefully this post will help those of you with blogs/websites that aren’t already earning money this way.
    What is an affiliate?
You are an affiliate if you help a company promote products and offers. In return for spreading the word about what they have to offer to your audience, the affiliate network will pay you in cash. This is actually a lot like being a referral, which I know most of you are familiar with. But here’s a good example. We…
