Micro-Gig Sites

Make Money Online With Zeerk

zeerk reviewZeerk is another micro-job site similar in many ways to Fiverr, but with a few very notable differences. It seems like many of these “Fiverr clones” appear and disappear rather rapidly, so I am usually hesitant to review one until I’ve seen that it’s been around for a while. Zeerk has actually been in existence since 2010, but it went through a change of ownership a few years after it’s initial launch. After the ownership change, the site was re-launched in 2012.
How Zeerk is Different From Fiverr
The first big difference is that everything isn’t five dollars. You can charge anywhere from $2 to $100 for your services. The other big difference…

40 Things You Can Sell on Fiverr

March 5, 2013 7 comments by

40 things you can sell on fiverrFiverr is an extremely popular micro-gig site. Thousands of people have created regular income for themselves by using Fiverr as a platform for offering their services. The idea behind Fiverr is very simple — what will you do for five dollars? Offer that on their site and let someone pay you to get it done. The catch of course is that you don’t really get five dollars for the services you offer since Fiverr does take a cut of your earnings. You can read more details on that here in my review of Fiverr. So really you need to ask yourself what you would do for three dollars…

Sell Your Freelancing Services on Task Army

November 7, 2011 8 comments by

Sell Your Freelancing ServicesTask Army is a website sort of like Fiverr where you can sign up as a freelancer and sell your services. I’m seeing all sorts of services offered here, including things for logo design, building websites, writing articles, and more. Unlike Fiverr, you can charge whatever you want. A lot of what I’m seeing here is higher-priced.
How much of my earnings does Task Army take?
You’ll get 80 percent of whatever you charge. The rest goes to them.
When do you get paid?
If you have received less than five positive feedback from your clients, you can’t get paid until your client marks the job as done. Once you…

Making Money on Fiverr

Making Money on FiverrFiverr is super popular right now — so much so that it has spawned countless clone sites, a few of which I have talked about here. But I’ve never actually reviewed Fiverr itself, so here is a quick rundown:
What is Fiverr?
Fiverr is something that many people refer to as a a “micro job” site. Basically, you just post a service you are willing to offer for $5. This could be almost anything — graphic design, writing, editing, or something really off the wall. The bizarre ones are always kind of fun to read over. As long as it’s legal and doesn’t violate the Fiverr terms of service, you can really use…

Get Paid For Writing on Write Swap

August 15, 2011 3 comments by

WriteSwap ReviewWrite Swap reminds me a whole lot of Fiverr, Twentyville, and Peoplestox with the way it’s set up, but the services you sell here are related to your writing. I can thank my fellow blogger friend Angie @ The Work at Home Wife for digging this one up and bringing it to my attention. I immediately bookmarked it so I could share it with all of you since I know that so many of you earn your money writing and are looking for ways to branch out with that.

  • Create a post detailing the writing work you are offering along with your price

How To Sell Something On Twentyville

August 2, 2011 8 comments by

How to Sell SomethingTwentyville is a site that is very similar to Fiverr and Peoplestox. The main difference here is that everything you sell must be priced at $20 — no more, no less. I guess this could be either good or bad depending on how you look at it. Some people might think $20 is too much to charge while others might feel that anything less than that amount is too little depending on what service is being offered. If you’re not interested in selling on Fiverr because you can’t ask for more money, then you might want to check out Twentyville.
