I must say I am a little excited about doing some writing for Bubblews. I was browsing around the Freelance Writing section of the WAHM forum yesterday and saw where it was being discussed. Most of the feedback was very positive and it sounded easy enough, so I decided to give it a try. I am pretty pleased so far!

International Readers – Bubblews is open worldwide! However your posts do need to be written in English.
How it Works
First off, this is writing for revenue share, not upfront pay. And at this point in time I’m not going to consider it as anything other than extra money, but it does appear that it may…

40 Things You Can Sell on Fiverr

March 5, 2013 7 comments by

40 things you can sell on fiverrFiverr is an extremely popular micro-gig site. Thousands of people have created regular income for themselves by using Fiverr as a platform for offering their services. The idea behind Fiverr is very simple — what will you do for five dollars? Offer that on their site and let someone pay you to get it done. The catch of course is that you don’t really get five dollars for the services you offer since Fiverr does take a cut of your earnings. You can read more details on that here in my review of Fiverr. So really you need to ask yourself what you would do for three dollars…

Get Paid to Be an Expert for Directly

February 7, 2013 2 comments by

directly-expertsDirectly is a website made up of a large community of experts who are knowledgeable about various companies, products, and services. You can apply to be an expert at Directly and get paid to work from home, answering questions people submit. This seems to be kind of a new thing and there’s not a lot of feedback out there yet on it, but it certainly seems promising so I hope that people who have applied in the past begin hearing back soon (right now a lot of people are on a wait list).

The company is based out of San Francisco and has been around since 2011.
How does it work?
If you’re accepted as an expert for a…

Review of the Endorse App – Get Money on Your Grocery Purchases

January 27, 2013 0 comments by

endorseThe Endorse app is similar to Ibotta. I have tested it and have nothing but good things to say about it so far. Currently this app can be used with devices supporting Apple or Android.

To sum up, it works just about like Ibotta. They will pay you money back on your grocery purchases. You can get the money via either Paypal or check, your choice.

Yesterday I got my first payment from Endorse, and it came almost as fast as Ibotta usually pays once I requested it. I also ran into a little bit of technical trouble. I emailed Endorse about it and they responded to…

Apps Like Ibotta

January 13, 2013 9 comments by

paid-to-shop-with-ibottaSeveral days ago I posted about the Ibotta app — an app that pays you back for the money you spend at the grocery store. I’ve been a big fan of the app because not only is the cash out threshold very low (just $5) making it very easy to get paid often, but Ibotta also sends you your money instantly after it’s showing in your account and you request it. I’ve cashed out a few times now and the money was transferred to Paypal right away! So of course that got me thinking, are there any other apps like Ibotta? I did some checking around and actually found a few…

Earn Money While You Shop With the Ibotta App!

January 2, 2013 9 comments by

ibotta-appIt’s been a long time since I’ve found a mobile app that I could get this excited about! The Ibotta app (available for Apple and Android) allows you to earn actual cash money for buying things at the store when you go shopping! This one has been getting some buzz for several months now and most everyone has a lot of praise for it. Keep in mind you can use this on any smartphone or tablet device as long as it works with Apple or Android.
How do you earn money by shopping?
There are many different popular retailers featured by the Ibotta app and when you shop at any of those, buying select products, you will get…

College Students, Sell Your Notes With Flashnotes

December 3, 2012 2 comments by

sell your notes at flashnotesExtra money is something that a lot of college students are looking for, and today I discovered another way you can earn it for something you may already be doing if you’re in college — taking notes for class.

Flashnotes is an interesting site that allows you to upload and sell the notes you take and flash cards you create. There is of course also an option to buy notes and flash cards if you need them.
How much can you earn?
It depends on what you set the price of your notes at. Obviously you would want to keep the budget of the average college student in mind, so I would suggest not…

How to Find Social Media Jobs From Home

November 30, 2012 10 comments by

social media jobs from homeSocial media jobs are very sought after at the moment! And lucky for you, a lot of businesses are currently recruiting for it because they don’t really know how — or don’t have time — to manage the social media end of their businesses themselves. Of course different companies are going to have different requirements, but it is often the case that they are willing to hire people to do this from home. And you will of course need to be able to show that you do have some experience in social media — the more the better in fact.
Where to Find the Work
I see social media jobs pop up on Craigslist all the time. Remember…

An Overview of Klout

November 15, 2012 5 comments by

overview of kloutFor several months now I’ve been a part of something called Klout. When I initially connected my social media accounts to it, I did not fully understand what it was and I didn’t bother to participate very often. All I knew was that I had something called a “Klout Score” that would fluctuate anywhere between 1 to 100, and that my score would go up and down and that it all had something to do with social media. Sure I saw people mention Klout on the web here and there and I would get an occasional “Plus K” from someone, but I didn’t really know what that was all about nor was I very interested to know…
