I appreciate that so many of you signed up for the daily leads list. Unfortunately, I have had to suspend this list until further notice due to several subscribers using the “report spam” button rather than the “unsubscribe” button. My newsletter provider, Mad Mimi, takes note of any accounts which receive more than one “spam” report for every 1000 emails sent, and I’ve gone well beyond that this week. I cannot keep my newsletter account intact and still safely send out the daily email. As you can probably imagine, this is beyond frustrating for me because I’m only sending messages to people that have asked to receive them — that isn’t “spamming.”
I feel really bad because I know so many of you wanted to get these emails, but rest assured I will still be sending out the once per week weekend email which will contain bonus job leads. I have also decided to include a “weekly job lead highlights” section to kind of showcase the better leads I found for the past week.
If you were subscribed to the daily leads list, you will cease getting these emails and will instead get the weekend email once per week. If you don’t want to get any emails from me, please don’t click “report spam.” Just click the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any correspondence you receive from me. This means you won’t get any more messages from me and keeps me out of hot water with my newsletter service provider.
Thanks for understanding! And please know that the vast majority of you are not clicking “spam” and I appreciate that! But it only takes a few to get me in trouble. I also realize that some people don’t realize the consequences that “report spam” button can have on people like me that are trying to send out newsletters honestly and just believe it’s a quick way to stop getting messages they no longer want to receive.
This is just a quick note to let you all know that I have created a separate email list for daily work from home job lead alerts! Basically, this is just an email that will go out each day — Monday through Friday — letting you know what new job leads got posted for that day on the work from home job leads board. If you would prefer not to get a daily email, you can of course still just view the job leads as always on the board. You will not receive an email if I didn’t post leads that day. I started this list because I know there are some of you that would enjoy the convenience of getting the leads straight to your inbox every day rather than having to check Facebook to see when I post them or go look for them on the daily job board. If you’d like to sign up for the daily email alerts, go here. Remember that if at any point you find the emails annoying, you can always unsubscribe by clicking on the link at the bottom of any of the emails you get. Very easy to do! The Weekend Newsletter Also note that I do have another email that goes out every weekend on Saturdays. This email gives you a list of new posts on the main blog for the preceding week as well as five or six “bonus” work at home leads that won’t get posted on the main job board until the following Monday. The daily job leads email and the weekend updates email are two separate things! Being subscribed to one doesn’t mean you’re subscribed to the other. You’ll have to subscribe to each separately if you want both. The reason for this is because not everyone wants the daily email — some people would much prefer to get a once per week email with updates and a few leads.
