I recently signed up to become a Mom Ambassador for Moms Meet and so far, I am extremely impressed with how it’s going. I have always been excited to get free things, and if you qualify for this program, you’ll get freebies for yourself as well as for other moms you know.
This is not work from home, but it does fall under the “product testing” category, which is something I do occasionally go into detail about on this blog. If you’re a mom who likes testing products, I really think you’ll enjoy this program.
And yes, you can sign up if you’re a dad! I saw them post that you can on their page.
What kind of free items do you receive?
It varies, but you should get useful things like grocery items, cleaning supplies, baby food, baby shampoo, and things like that. Moms Meet is also a “green” group, so you can expect the things you receive to be environmentally friendly and mostly chemical-free.
What is expected after you get the items?
First of all, you’ll receive many items — not just a few things. I recently got in on a laundry soap test for a well-known brand of green detergent and I received a pretty large box of samples along with a coupon for a free product I can use as well as a nice grocery tote bag.
You are supposed to test the product out for yourself and also give out the extra samples to the moms in your group if you have a group. If you don’t have a formal “group” of moms that you hang out with, just do like I did and pass them out to all the moms you know when you see them. Then, be sure to get their feedback on the product after they’ve had a chance to use it.
Once you and the other people you gave samples to have had a chance to try the product, you will probably receive a survey from Mom’s Meet in your inbox to let them know what you all thought of the product. There will be a deadline so definitely try to get your survey completed before that.
How often do you get products to test?
This will vary. For me, the laundry soap test is the first one I’ve gotten in on so far. Just keep an eye on your email for product testing invites and apply to all the ones you get.
Want to sign up?
If you think being a Mom Ambassador for Moms Meet sounds like something you’d want to do, just go here to sign up. If you’re a blogger, you can also register your blog to get free things to try out and share with your readers. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee you’ll be accepted immediately. I guess it all depends on the demographic they need at any given time.
