Make Money on Facebook With the Shopcade App

I recently found out about another app that lets you earn through Facebook called Shopcade. Now, this one for sure won’t be as lucrative as Cloud Crowd, but it might be kind of fun to use if you like products and shopping and also recommending things to buy to your friends.

How it Works

First off, you need a Facebook account. What you do basically is create your own little shop on Facebook through the app and add products you like to it. You start with 800 points, which lets you add eight products. The more points you earn, the more products you can add to your shop. You of course can earn more points by logging in to the app every day, recommending products to friends, having your friends view the items in your shop, and through several other methods. The app is very social and makes it really easy to share things on your wall and recommend things to friends with no trouble (but be sure not to spam them!)

How You Make Money

Shopcade makes you money in two ways — you can earn via cash back if you purchase anything through the app (currently they support thousands and thousands of well-known retailers), and you can also get a commission from purchases people make through your store. The commission usually won’t be more than a few dollars or less though depending on what is purchased.

Here is what the Shopcade site says about earning money there. You can earn when …:

1.When you buy via another Shopcade: When you find a nice product in another Shopcade and buy it, you both earn cash! The amount you earn is indicated on each product popup, under “Earn when you buy”.
2. When you buy via nobody: You still earn cash for yourself just for buying a product nobody has added.
3. When others buy via your Shopcade: When someone visits your Shopcade and buys a product, you both earn cash! The amount you earn is indicated on each product popup, under “Earn when others buy”.

How does Shopcade pay?

You have to have a Paypal account to get paid. This is the only method of payment they have available. If you’re feeling generous, you are also given the option to donate your earnings to charity.

Bottom Line

Shopcade sounds like a fun way to earn some extra money playing on Facebook. If you like being social, love products/shopping, and also enjoy recommending things you love to others, then you  might enjoy making a little extra cash through this app.
