ClicknWork is a company that has been hiring people to work at home since 2000. There’s not really any one category the work falls into. They hire for all kinds of things. You are not technically doing the work for ClicknWork, but rather for their clients. They just act as the middle man for companies that need various things done by home-based workers.
Here’s a list of the types of jobs ClicknWork has for home workers to do to make money online:
- Business Researcher
- Web Search
- Data Entry
- Mystery Shopping
- Telephone Interviewing
How much does ClicknWork pay?
The amount of pay varies depending on the job. They say that easier work pays less and the more complex work tends to pay more.
How and when are you paid?
ClicknWork pays once a month with Paypal around the 15th for work done the previous month. People outside the US have the option of getting paid via check or direct deposit. You do have to send them an invoice in order to get your pay. You are working as an independent contractor for this company so taxes are your responsibility.
How does the application process work?
You have to first register for an account and list your skills/experience. Then, if any work comes available that it looks like you would be a good fit for, you might be invited to take a test. Doing well on the test will determine whether or not you get work.
Are assignments short or long term?
It will vary. Some things will be long term and others will be short, one off assignments.
Can people outside the US work for ClicknWork?
Yes. But you do need to have good English skills.
What do people say about ClicknWork?
They appear to be a legit company, but from the research I’ve done, many people sign up here and then never get any work. I do not know if this is because they are swamped with workers or if they simply do not have that many assignments available. Another thing I keep reading is how difficult the tests are. Apparently they are insanely difficult.
More Reviews on ClicknWork
I scoured the web for more details on ClicknWork and just did not find anything very insightful. But there are lots of posts about ClicknWork on the WAHM forum.
I would also suggest, before signing up, reading through their FAQ. They do provide a lot of detail for potential workers.
