The Mindfield Online internet panel is one survey panel that still pays in cash. I know that many of you who take surveys for extra money really hate the redeemable points that a lot of these places are starting to pay in. Well, there is none of that with Mindfield. Hopefully they will never revert to doing it either.

As you may know, paid surveys are basically good for just extra money so I don’t recommend trying to do these as a job. It’s more “fun money” or gas money. But if you’re going to do them, Mindfield is one panel I don’t have a problem recommending.

How much does Mindfield Online pay?

The amount per survey really varies. I just looked through some of my recent emails from them, and the survey amounts ranged from $1 to $35 with the average hovering somewhere around maybe $2 per survey. The $35 one I think was for some special study, and you may get those invites from time to time, although you might not qualify into those surveys as they are usually looking for people in a specific demographic.

Their email survey invites are very detailed and tell you how much you can earn, how long the survey should last, etc. Here’s an example of one I got in my email if you want to see:

How long do the surveys take?

After registering, you’ll start getting emails that tell you how long each survey is and how much it pays. Most of the surveys aren’t supposed to take longer than 20 minutes to do (most much less time than that), but if you’re really used to doing surveys online, chances are good you’re pretty fast at it and may be able to get done quickly.

How does Mindfield pay?

You can choose to get paid with either check or Paypal. Once you have $5 in your Mindfield account, you can request a payment. For many people, this doesn’t take long to reach. While their Paypal payments aren’t instant, they may still be faster than waiting on a paper check from them, which could take up to a month or even six weeks.

Who can sign up?

You can sign up if you are from the U.S. or Canada. If you are under 15 years of age, you’ll have to get parental consent before registering.

Is it free to join?

Yes! And please bear in mind that any survey company asking you to pay a fee to join is a scam. Never, ever pay to sign up for a survey company! That’s always a complete rip-off. I’ve never once seen any exception to that rule when it comes to survey companies.

Does Mindfield have a Facebook page?

Yes, they do. It’s located here. They currently have over 20,00 “likers” and it’s a good way to follow them and stay up to date on studies if you don’t always check your email. Please note that you also do not have to have a Facebook account to sign up for their surveys. It’s just an option they offer, but not required.

If you like getting paid in cash for surveys and would prefer to avoid the sites offering redeemable points, Mindfield is, in my opinion, a good option. I have used them in the past and been paid by them. Please note that the survey invites you get don’t guarantee you get to take and get paid for that survey. You’ll have to answer a few “screener” questions first which determine whether or not you’ll get accepted into the survey.
